Ocala Dentist Stephen Dunn, DDS, PA
Dr. Stephen Dunn’s practice philosophy is that he and his staff will provide treatment options after a thorough evaluation and then educate their patients allowing them to make the best treatment decisions for their oral health. He is a firm believer in education and training and this is reflected in the organization of his office.
Dr. Dunn received an undergraduate degree, Magna cum Laude in Biochemistry and Chemistry at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He became acquainted with dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry as an undergraduate researcher in biochemistry for the department of Periodontics. In 1979, he was accepted to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and received his dental degree in 1983. Upon graduation, Dr. Dunn was commissioned as a captain in the Army Dental Corp and was stationed for 3 years at Fort Stewart, Georgia. He was assigned as a division dentist in the 24th Infantry Division and actively trained in many remote sites including the Middle East. In 1986, Dr. Dunn joined a group practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Two years later he assumed the dental practice of the late Dr. Duane Seibert in Ocala, Florida.
